Her fur has grown the longest it has ever been. He has a dark gray stripe along his back, at the start of his legs, the tip of his tail, the nose bridge, and a stripe on the cheeks. They have a lighter gray on their fur that starts at the face and goes down below on the chest, belly, and tail. It also appears in their paws, trailing a bit upwards from the back. ── ⟢ ⸝⸝ accessory - [unofficial] Widow spider [official] Blackberries, Hummingbird feather ── ⟢ ⸝⸝ companion - "Haven" they/them Navajo-Churro sheep ⚬──────────✧──────────⚬ . . . ⸝⸝ 03. personality ⸝⸝ . . . ── ⟢ ⸝⸝ positive traits - calm, patient, honest Widowwatcher will avoid anything to do with aggressive or confrontational language since all she wants is peace, and also tries to make the other understand why she had to do what she needed to do. She will use body language the most, especially with any deaf cats that come her way; after all, who knows what tone her message might come across? Widowwatcher may take a while before responding because she always thinks first before she says anything about it to make sure it doesn't come across the wrong way. Widowwatcher will stay patient for as long as she can handle it and trusts the others to come back when they can. If it ends up that the other is taking too long in her head, she will leave of her own accord, but not without a small gift, like flowers or a bug she found. Widowwatcher will accept if things have changed between her and another cat. Widowwatcher has a hard time trying to deceive others with her own words, so she's decided to be as honest as she can. She will show respect towards others and will take accountability for actions she may have done wrong. ── ⟢ ⸝⸝ neutral traits - fearless, dramatic, quiet Widowwatcher refuses to act like she's afraid of something, even if she really is, and shows it with all her body language that she has learned over the days she's been alive. She will show confidence in her own abilities and wants to show that she can get rid of her own fears. This may mean that she will face danger head-on, even if it means that she'll get injured. Widowwatcher may exaggerate things to the point where it's really just her being so dramatic. She may react strongly to situations or events, even if they haven't happened yet, and will get overwhelmed by her own emotions. She prefers attention and validation when needed and is easily influenced by others' opinions. Widowwatcher chooses to be quiet most of the time and will only speak when it's really needed or when it's something that needs to get out of her own mind. ── ⟢ ⸝⸝ negative traits - jealous, disrespectful, foolish Widowwatcher has a fear of losing something or someone valuable in her life, which will cause her to get angry fast when a cat that she considers a friend is with another cat, unless the other cat is somehow also her friend. Widowwatcher will have self-doubts and will criticize herself for her ability to succeed in anything. She will show clear envy towards those who have completed their achievements. Sometimes, Widowwatcher refuses to listen when she needs it the most, trying to claim it as the fact that it's too boring or that she couldn't understand it all. She will talk down to others, making them seem less while trying to bring her own ego up. Widowwatcher may also grow overconfident in herself, which will result in her being gullible to anything that someone says to her. She has some poor decision-making skills due to that and has a fear of failing.
⚬──────────✧──────────⚬ . . . ⸝⸝ 04. backstory ⸝⸝ . . . kithood Widowkit was born in the northern lands, where is where her pelt color came from and where her future fluffiness is showing through. Delphine brought her into the Clan after realizing that the kitten had no family to get back to since they left once she was one moon old, too young for anyone's liking. Widowkit, at his age, hated moss-ball. He hated it so much that he didn't want to play with it and wanted to rip it to shreds whenever he saw one, even though he didn't want to tell anyone that. He never really understood why kits like him liked moss-ball so much, since all it was to him was throwing and throwing until one of them gave up. The one thing they did understand, though, was having an interest in plants and flowers alike. At one point, Widowkit was told a lie that medics apparently use magic to turn those into things a cat can use to heal people, and they thought that was cool and interesting! ...They haven't been told that it was a lie yet. Widowkit gained a friend by the name of Annuletkit. Their first meeting was when Widow was trying to save a wilting flower from the harsh leafbare, but as apprentices, they don't... really talk anymore. She's not quite sure what happened between her and Annulet. apprenticehood Upon finding out she was assigned to a mentor, he thought Delphine hated them, even though every other apprentice had one and that she hadn't talked to Delphine before about not... having a mentor. To combat the fact that he needs a mentor to do everything for them, she is deciding he only wants to train independently with other apprentices. This was around the time that Widowpaw found out she felt detached from his gender identity, and scrambled until they found a label that fit her the most, a demi-she who uses all pronouns. When Widowpaw heard that Delphine was leaving, or at least indirectly said so, he didn't really take it well in the lesson, but they were willing to try and do stuff without what was supposed to be their caretaker. During this time, Widowpaw wanted to really provide for their Clan, not willing to let Delphine down, and any of the warriors as well. They were once a number one hunter alongside Fireflypaw, and that made them proud. They were glad that MossClan is looking forward to hunting, even alongside them. Widowpaw noticed that one day, Fishmothfrolic was feeling down and brought flowers for him, and learned that Morphopaw had a fatality while trying to be healed. When she heard that Fishmothfrolic still didn't believe in himself, especially after the apprentice's fatality, she didn't take it well and broke down in front of him. She was happy to hear that he listened to her words. Then, he found a sheep, originally afraid due to their horns, he eventually came to realize that this sheep was very friendly, not willing to attack despite literally being bigger than all the warriors combined. In place of being Widowpaw's companion, the large animal was given the name Haven. Widowpaw became afraid of UrchinClan after a few interactions with them. Widowpaw became Widowwatcher.
