I Thought You Disappeared But You Were Never There To Begin With It will take 10 seconds for the slide to move to the next. A poem Written by Anebee-1 As you all know, the backdrops are not mine. But the words that are on them belong to me. Please do not copy this poem, I plan on publishing it soon.
I Thought You Disappeared But You Were Never There To Begin With I was nervous on my first day Until I met you You listened to me have my say You appeared out of the blue We became inseparable Friends like no other Time we spent was immeasurable Never a bother Then you became silent Acting as if I didn't exist Did our friendship have a dent? Our friendship became a vague mist You disappeared but you were sitting there I didn't ask because I couldn't dare Maybe because I was here Or the fact that we were a pair I turned to your seat in class But you were chatting away I couldn't if ask about your pass Then I looked away On a rainy day I confronted you You said we were never friends to begin with My time with you was due All you needed was information Nothing more, Nothing less I watched your retreating back I looked away as I sat You joined the rest of your pack There we chose different paths Though it was a one-sided friendship, I couldn't stop the part of me that wished we would meet again at the top. I thought you had disappeared but you were never there to begin with. Written by Anebee-1
