Rules for signing up and roleplaying in Leader of the Flock! Music: Beary Beach by @RosellaCodes Art by me, created in FireAlpaca! -- ~ Birds can be gay, lesbian, bi, trans, everything like that and stuff I don't care ~ When laying eggs, please don't do this realistically. Scratch is a kids website y'all /srs ~ You have a maximum of 1 living bird. Don't use an alternate account, if you are caught breaking this rule your characters will be removed! ~ The owner can have as many chars as they want to, to keep the story going ~ Scratch is a kids website, the codeword is oasis, so keep everything PG and no higher! ~ No inappropriate language! However, you can use warrior cat swears (foxheart, mousedung) ~ This RP is not a Warrior Cats RP, but you can still use terms like twoleg and leafbare. (Although twoleg may not be usable because the birds are nowhere near twolegplaces) ~ Exclusions to the previous rule are (You cannot use these terms): StarClan/Dark Forest (the realms in this RP are different), -Clan (the groups are not "clan-like"), the Warrior Code (there are different passages used in this RP) and anything that is very tied to Warrior Cats. If you want to make one of these terms allowed or not allowed, please tell me. ~ No age gaps greater than 6 moons please. ~ Birds that are under 6 moons cannot have a crush, and no bird can have a crush on a chick. Mature fledgelings may have a crush on adults but may not act on them until they are an adult themself. Adults can only have a crush on other adults. ~ A bird can have a crush on an outsider, and vice versa. What is forbidden is having a crush with a bird in a different forest. ~ Human days/months/years can be used as well as moons ~ If you are a highrank, please don't abuse your power ~ No powerplaying: you may not achieve what you want (you won't always win battles, you won't always catch food, you won't always make comebacks, etc.) This keeps the RP fair and a bit more realistic. ~ No AI generated stuff or your content won't be accepted! ~ Please ask for permission if you want to start a major event or do something that affects more than just your character ~ Novicebirds can't have crushes! They still can, really, but if they do have crushes, it will count as forbidden love. ~ You don't need permission to do forbidden love - let the forest find out by itself! ~ When signing up, please remember that this isn't Warrior Cats, so don't expect to get a suffix. You also can't give yourself a suffix upon signing up. If your name is a compound word but is not intentionally a warrior cat-like name (like Hailstorm or Gumleaf), please tell me that when signing up. ~ You can have a one-part name (Wallaby) or a two-part name with spaces (White Night). No criteria must be made to get any type of name, unlike Warrior Cats! ~ Please be realistic with your appearance. You can't be a bright pink with green stripes, or be a rainbow colour. ~ You cannot sign up with a name that is already taken in the forest you are signing up to. For example, you can't have two birds with the name "Fox" in one forest, but there can be a Fox in one forest and a Fox in another. You're responsible for checking what names are taken! ~ If you're signing up, you are required to pick a species from the species list. The list is below. ~ Please be realistic with your names, and pick a name that a wild bird would know about (Lake, Flapping Wings, but not Sugar or Fresh Bread). ~ An outsider can join any family or forest group, but they have to be careful not to frighten the family or be turned to dust. ~ Everyone ages 1 moon every Friday (Thursday for some people in a different timezone) and ceremonies may be started on that day as well. ~ If you start an ORP please use past-tense and third person. If you don't know those things, just search it up! ~ You can make up to three active ORPs or CRPs at a time. Once a thread has been replied to, you can make another thread. ~ Notice someone breaking the rules? Please tell me that on an old comment thread with proof (please do not use a recent thread)! Even if you're not sure, it's best to report it just in case. ~ Some things may have special rules with them. Please follow those as well as these rules! ~ Introducing a special rule to your forest as leader? Go ahead and introduce it! (As always, don't abuse your power as leader and become overpowered with it!) (If you're deputy/a lowrank and want to introduce/suggest a new rule, talk about it to the deputy or leader!) ~ Have a clutch? Please register it at the clutch project in the notes and credits before you start accepting applications. Pre-claims aren't allowed. ~ If you're going on a hiatus, please go to the inactivity storage and follow the instructions there! Your bird won't be removed automatically then. Note that going on hiatus will only stop you from being removed, nothing else! (You'll still be able to pass away from illness events and stuff like that!)
