Quick update.. I took Sparky out for a quick backing session. I took a saddle pad with me, and went to the roundpen. When I got in, I took Sparky's halter off, since he's super calm, and pretty chill no matter what. I let him sniff the saddle pad, snd he seemed very curious. I started rubbing it against his back, and he did not budge one muscle. He stayed calm, and I feel some good vibes ahead!
