That new Tyga album is genuinely some straight garbage For some context, a week ago, Tyga for some reason decided to release an AI slop album titled "Starface". He just opened up an AI music production app and asked to make 80s pop songs in the style of Tyga and called it a day. When accused of using AI, he straight up admitted to it and defended himself, saying he's reinventing himself and compared the use of AI art to using autotune. This album even got a 0.0 rating on pitchfork(which is really rare). I listened to the album(I can't believe I'd do a such a thing to myself) and I gotta say, 0 was an understatement. It's so bad I can't even rate it out of 10. It's just straight garbage. His AI vocals sound so weird and the AI production is equally horrifying. I'd much rather hear nails on a chalkboard straight for a year non-stop than to ever listen to that slop ever again. Dear God. And I hate how he had to audacity to compare AI to autotune. Autotune genuinely requires effort. You gotta find the key of your song first, then open up your autotune plugin and then select the keys in that plugin. You also have to control how much autotune you want, how fast or slow it is among other stuff. It's not a click of a button. So yeah in conclusion, if you wanna spare your ears, please never listen to that garbage Tyga album.
