That cats is called that their whole life. Their official name, their second word, is received once they have proven themself to to be a useful member. This can happen at any age, as long as they are at least 6 months old, as they are sent to be trainees at 5 moons old. Once the recieve their full name, example, Molten Tail, they are usually still addressed as the first part, but rarely are addressed as their full name regularly, unless they are the Lao or Molten Tail, who intimidated cats into never calling her by a nickname. COLLARFOLK: Normal pet cat names, some in-story examples are Fluffykins, Merrygold, and Kitty.
