This page is a Scratch project created by user whisperfin titled "Undertale Roaring Knight fanfight". It is an interactive, fan-made boss battle based on characters from the games Undertale and Deltarune. Strategic Gameplay Walkthrough You can win this fight using two completely different methods: Offensive Route: Continuously use the FIGHT option. If you maintain high damage (around 400 damage per turn), you can defeat the Knight in under 25 turns. Pacifist Route: Continuously use the MERCY option to spare him for 99 turns straight to make him give up. Turn-by-Turn Attack Breakdown Turn 2 (Shaking Sword): The enemy attacks with a sword that attempts to predict your movement. Bait the attack by moving into one corner, then quickly dash to the opposite corner. You can safely "graze" near the edge of attacks to heal 1 HP. Turn 3 & 4 (Pins and Needles): Projectiles move back and forth while descending. Match their horizontal movement slightly to delay how fast they reach you. Item Tip: If your HP drops below 50%, consume the Butterscotch Pie. If you are hurt but above half health, use the Legendary Hero to boost your current health and permanently increase your attack power by 4 points. Turn 5 (Starchild): Star-shaped hazards fade in and out. They cannot hurt you while invisible. Dodge by weaving in a pattern: middle-left, dip down, then up to the middle-right border, and repeat. Turn 6 (Rain & Rainbow): Your SOUL turns blue and gravity is applied. Watch the top to avoid falling rain. Then watch the very bottom of the arena and prepare to jump over a flashing rainbow at the end of the phase. Turn 7 (Knives): Knives surround your soul arena. Track the direction the blades are facing to anticipate their straight-line firing paths and step out of the way. Turn 8 (The Rock): This is a harmless joke turn. The Knight gets angry and kicks a simple tumbling rock down the screen. You can use this to your advantage to heal up without getting hurt. Turn 9 (Six Swords): Six small swords surround you from all grid positions (corners and midpoints). Use the exact same corner-baiting strategy from Turn 2 to avoid them. Turn 10 (Corrupted Moon): A large, distorted moon spawns in the top left and tracks your position. Evade it by moving in a steady, slow circle around the outer perimeter of the combat box. Turn 11 (Guard Break): If you have dealt enough aggregate damage up to this point, the Knight's guard breaks. This grants you a permanent +25 damage bonus for the remainder of the battle. After this phase, the attack sequence loops back to Turn 2. Project Details & Trivia Creator Note: The creator notes in the text that a typo ("pfun" intended) was intentionally left in because the Scratch filter flagged their intended phrasing as a bad word. Credits: The project was built using an Undertale fight template originally created by the Scratch user WhendoIdoit. To win the fight using MERCY, select the MERCY option on every single turn for 99 turns straight to make the Roaring Knight give up.
