Hello! After many moons of recovery and afterwards, AngeliteStar has been given quite a lot of time to think- and so she did! She thought that perhaps, a fun little event would be great for FalconClan. Welcome to the FalconClan exclusive, Field Week mini-event information project :D ――――― Timeline of Information: ♡ What is 'Field Week'? ♡ How will it work? ♡ Game information ♡ Event 'prizes' ♡ Question & Answer ♡ Credits ♡ Teams ――――― What is Field Week? Field Week is a short, falconclan exclusive, mini event that will last for two weeks! AngeliteStar will head/lead it, and created it for fun, and also to encourage building and training upon skills like strength and speed! This event will not be very important story-wise, and holds around the same importance and relevance as the previously held fireweed gathering contest. With that said, it can still be used to build, strengthen and weaken character relationships, dynamics, etc! ――――― How will it work? The mini-event will be split into two weeks, week one and week two. during week one is when sign-ups for the event, and earning of points happens. There are three types of points you can acquire in this event, those being strength, stealth, and speed points. To acquire a point in one of the above, the specific skill point you want to get needs to be demonstrated practiced in a roleplay thread, and then submitted here. So, training threads, basically. These threads can be solo (SRP), or multi (CRPs and ORPs). Note there is a minimum comment requirement for solo training threads, which will not be revealed here because I am mean /j. Your cats will also be sorted into teams for the event, because yes. Do note not all of the games in the event will be multi or team based, however, and this is for ease of certain games that will take place. To sign up, comment your cat's name below, and you will be assigned a team. The teams for this event will be: Team Sunshower and Team Heatwave The sortings will be randomized. When week one's over, there will be no more opportunities to acquire more skill points. Week two will consist of the actual games. There will be a new game everyday of Week two, and the games will be: ♡ Relay Race | day one ♡ Hide and Seek | day two ♡ Jenga (sticks) | day three ♡ Training Spars | day four ♡ Pebble Towers | day five ♡ Tug-o-War | day six These will be explained more in depth in the next section. The winners of these games will be pre-decided before any roleplays, and then roleplayed out if wished. The winner decisions will be made through random rolling, although having a higher amount of skill points in the skill point required for the game can help in your favor. For whole team activities, like tug-o-war or relay race, the total game measured skill points of all cats in the team will be calculated and used for random rolling for a consensus on which team wins for that game. ――――― Game Information Relay Race - Saturday Team effort game! Inrp, cats would line up at various parts of the territory, starting from the Pines and ending at the Greenleaf Glade. This relay race isn't for running though- participants will have to fly as fast as they can to each other! Both teams would have a stick, Team Sunshower would have one with an end dyed with blackberries, and Team Heatwave would have one with an end dyed with raspberries. This game would calculate the total speed points on each team and use that to determine who wins. Hide and Seek - Sunday A giant game of hide and seek that would span across the territory! Cheating the game by trespassing into other territories is not allowed and would get a fireweed. This would be a solo game, though hide and seek assignments would be team based and rank based. That is to say, if you're an apprentice on Team Sunshower, you would get assigned an apprentice on Team Heatwave as your opponent, if you're a warrior on Team Heatwave, you would get assigned a warrior on Team Sunshower, etc. Basically, one cat seeks, one hides. This game's winners would be determined by individual stealth points and spin a wheel as according to see who wins. Jenga (sticks) - Monday Jenga but with sticks. This would be a team game. Angelite has poured her heart, soul, and dreams into building two giant stacks of sticks, arranged like a Jenga game usually would be. Whichever team can make their Jenga tower last the longest wins. Cheating is absolutely prohibited, no sabotaging the other team by throwing things at their pile, no not participating so your tower can stay steady, etc. This game would calculate the total stealth points on each team and use that to determine who wins. (Games cont. in N + C)
Training Spars - Tuesday Though not nearly as exciting as the other games, the fourth game would be training spars, though with no claws out. This would be a solo game, though team assignments would be based on team and rank. Opponents display their best fighting moves while sparring with each other for five minutes, and whoever has the 'better moves' wins. This game's winners would be determined by individual strength points and spin a wheel to see who wins. Pebble Towers - Wednesday This would be a team game. Cats on both teams would scout the territory and find pebbles for their team's to-be tower. Be careful on what pebbles you collect, though, as it's important to make sure your tower doesn't collapse. Then cats would build their towers, and whoever's team's falls first loses, and the other wins. Both towers must be five pebbles wide and four pebbles long. This game would calculate the total stealth (building) and speed (finding) points on each team, and half the stealth and speed points, then add them together. Whoever has more points wins. Tug-O-War - Thursday The final game would be a giant team effort game of tug-o-war, using a long yet sturdy vine (thornless) AngeliteStar somehow found in the territory. This game would work like tug-o-war. If you don't know anything about tug-o-war, please look it up. The winner of the game would be determined by total strength points on both sides, and the total speed points on both sides divided by four and then added with the strength points. Uhmm yeah. ――――― Event Prizes Of course, even though it's not a full-fledged competition, there are still prizes regardless because why not? The overall winner of the event, which would be the cat with the most wins in the games, would inrp get a trophy carefully carved out of wood and decorated on the outside with star jasmine and in the inside, filled with precisely twenty eight snowdrops. oorp, the winner's roleplayer would also get the ultimate prize design inside the project, Melting Summers <3 The cats on the 'winning' and 'losing' teams with the most overall skill points will inrp get a bundle of leaves wrapping around ten snowdrops within, and oorp the roleplayers of them can decide between them who gets the other 'winning' designs, Radial Wavelengths and Sweet Sunshine <3 (NOTE: there is currently only a WIP of Radial Wavelengths and Sweet Sunshine, due to me not having access to the device I draw things on </3) Please note that the designs DO NOT have any special properties to them, and they are simply regular designs. Winning them simply means being able to use them, and even then I would like to be credited for the design. (NOTE: all the designs are inside, but in WIP forms due to frustrating circumstances I mostly can't control. They should be finished by Monday </3.) Finally, all cats excluding the winners above on the 'winning' side would get two snowdrops, and all cats on the 'losing' one excluding the one with most skill points would get five grains of sand. Great prize, am I right? ――――― Questions & Answers Q - What Timezone will this event be run on?
