Here's the text if you can't read them (because of low quality): THIS MIGHT SOUND SILLY, BUT IN FACT, IT SHOULD MAKE PEOPLE CONCERNED ABOUT THE FUTURE OF EVENT ARCHIVES. Recently, it was discovered that the official Sport Europe website uses fan mascots and content on its pages about the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF). In fact, this is more noticeable in the mascots shown for Murcia 2001 and Paris 2003, which are both fan creations made by the Chilean artist Laura (ig: @rockst4r_parakeet). For Jaca 2007 (winter), instead of using the true image of Pinwi (the mascot), it uses a fanart by the French-Spanish artist Chopi (ig: @sltchopi). The filenames of the images of mascots are also seen to use fake and unofficial names, MOST LIKELY taken from a Fandom wiki named 'The Adventures of the Gladiators of Cybertron', which SHOULDN'T BE TRUSTED AT ALL, especially knowing that the creator of this wiki is an extremely problematic person, and when it comes to event mascots (like EYOF mascots), there's a numerable amount of misinformation, especially the names and designs. If you're concerned about Sport Europe using this misinformation for OFFICIAL PAGES ABOUT EYOF EDITIONS, boycott them and share this story everywhere so both athletes, mascot fans, and people alike can get informed. This is serious. If help is needed, it's simple to join: - Download or copy the text on this picture (aka the pic u see in the project). - Not only repost and spread the word, but also be aware of what the picture says. - Share this news with anyone you're familiar with in the mascot community, or, at least, anyone familiar with mascots or sport. - And last but not least, try to find a way to contact the Sport Europe website (Sport Europe Website: sporteurope.org), or oppose them. I'm afraid that FIFA will be involved in a problem like this after Brazil 2027. I don't want something like this to happen with Clutch (shown in my PFP and in my thumbnail). If something like this happens with another sporting organization, then this could mean the end of mascot-kind as we know it.
