Vet Check on WF Cold Frosty Morning I do not claim partial or full ownership of Frosty, she is owned entirely by @Blue_frosting- I did a quick check of all her vitals, and they were all within the normal range. I gave her a dewormer, which she wasn’t too pleased about, but I got her to swallow it. Got her all up to date on her vaccinations, which she was even less pleased about, but we got them in. I checked for any swelling in her legs, running my hands down the full length and paying close attention to her cannon bones area where swelling is somewhat common in horses that are lame, and there wasn’t any so I took her for a walk around the barn to see if her limp had faded, like you said. It had, and I was confident that a quick bit of exercise wouldn’t be too hard on her so I took her to the outdoor arena and did a little bit of controlled trotting with her to see if she had the limp at the trot. She didn’t, and seems sound, so I’d say she can go back to work, but keep the work easy, just walk-trot for at least a week, and the first session or two just walking, and no jumping for at least three to be safe, but this girl has made a good recovery and probably won’t have any permanent injuries. If she does become lame again let me know and lay off work immediately, although I doubt I have to tell you that.
It'll be 5HS, thanks for ordering! @Blue_frosting- (Frosty and halter) @mythtopianpegasus (rider base) @.Indigo_Mist- (everything else)
