what's that? a positive project about the new 40s on this platform? what is it, opposite day? feel free to say if my reasoning for anything is flat or weak, but please don't, like, call me an idiot or anything. i like things. and i like liking things.
credit to bluezoo and blahblahblah for numberblocks and the blocks universe wiki for being the reason i know any of this at all (i don't have social media or even youtube). and now to debunk the idea that these are ai-generated. first off, if you ask an ai to generate an entire numberblock from scratch, don't expect it to look right. it could have the wrong amount of blocks or incredibly jarring differences in the art style. "but what about the ai numberblocks bands with accurate designs?" they clearly used references for those, and, well... these are brand spanking new creations! there's no "reference" for a character if said character doesn't yet exist! "but what if they were drawn and asked to be made into the numberblocks art style by an ai?" have you considered that these new numbers have to be animated in the show if they're gonna appear? wouldn't it be, like, really freaking obvious if an ai "animated" something alongside actual animation? they have no actual reason to ai generate designs, especially since it would have a ton of problems as i just pointed out!
