This is a technical demonstration of the 2.5D tower in TOWER MONKEY. Playing with the variables helps with visualizing how the tower works I used the fisheye effect to stretch the tiles width-wise by placing the tile on the left-most edge of a large circle. To stitch the tiles together, I made a logistic regression model on Desmos to calculate where each tile should be placed on the x-axis. To do this, I manually stamped tiles onto the screen with the desired fisheye effects and correct spacing, then I used my mouse pointer to measure the distance between each tile, recording the values in a table. Then I pressed the regression button, and found the best curve that fit the points. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments! Check the game out if you haven't already. I use a couple other background effects to sell the 3D illusion. Link: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1364551180/ #tower #psuedo3d #owaiso Music from DKC
