Light Against Darkness You are the salt of the earth Not only to be found in the north Nor the south But to give flavour to all And all honour to God You are the light of the world A city set on a hill cannot be hidden But weighs down the burden Causing darkness to flee Without even a plea Nor do they light a lamp And hide it from the rest of the camp But on a lampstand And it gives light to all the land Under God's command There are those who rebel against the light They create their own plight Bear fruits worthy of repentance May your works glorify the Lord, God Each in their own accord Written by Anebee-1
