The Carthaginian economy is run by every person, business, statesman, and even child. This is how it works, in Carthage, we have both state mandated firms and corporate firms. Either directly works the economy. The average Carthaginian can easily create their own business or sell their things using these exact same firms. As mentioned businesses can be created with firms, obviously, but so can firms. If it happens to be the case, a firm creates a new firm, then, here we have our first knot being tied. That same firm can do what all the others do, making itself and the people money, which directly funds our senate. How about the larger corporations? Well, for a start, the Carthaginian economy is heavily dependent on itself. The state-sponsored Masaesyli car brand pretty much is what everyone in the country drives, it's sold for less than it's worth and keeps this value up by it's child and bought out companies, while the main gimmick of the car is that it's a hybrid. Some variations include the truck/lorry, the van, the fully battery powered car, the petrol/gasoline powered, normal hybrid obviously, the jeep and finally a military jeep, strangely enough, also is our tank producer.. All these variations make transportation around the mainland quicker and easier, also allows the people to visit businesses and firms, and will be a key component to show off competence when we host sporting events. Businesses famously dominate all things Carthaginian allowing for our hypercapitalism and rapid economic growth compared to all others, the good thing of many about it is that anybody can make their own, as mentioned, firms, firms, firms. The majority of companies have them; if they do not, then they have branches which do similar things. These, create new pieces for the Carthaginian corporate, but, if a new business pops up then the firms can buy them out, fund them, and give them that offer unrefusable. Now, I know this sounds like no foreign companies get into Carthage. This type of thing has a few quirks. Car brands are quite rare in Carthage since the Masaesyli is standardized and all purpose. In other industries where you can't really have just one, such as fast food or dining in general, strictly online marketplaces and similar, networking and smartphones, etc. However, these branches of companies are tied within power from the Carthaginian side and the home side. Naturally, to get us Punics off their backs, we get a bit more of the usual cut. The purchases from these places with the cut is a vital component and is obviously worked up by the people. Factories are of little concern for space since land can be bought by companies to use such land and grant to their child companies obviously. Some complexes exist, of many factories for our workers, the goods for the factories are either imported by truck or by port, the ports are legally owned by businesses varying, however if needed, the state has permission to use these ports to make sure we can get our part, many CEOs are part of government after all so it wouldn't be as bad for them to grant a few concessions.
