I have invented a story!! Basically, there are gods who like to put their essence in children before they’re born. As in, some of their godly spirit that will give the kids powers! Those kids are then raised to become PROTECTORS OF THE LAND! (Once they discover said powers, which usually occurs in a dangerous situation where the kid will use them to protect/save another person) So, like, there’s a special school that trains them to do that. The main character is called Caedus (the blond guy), who has the powers of the sky/storm god, who’s one of the more powerful ones. His parents always ignored him growing up, or got mad at him for practically anything. My explanation for that for now is that his parents had him, thinking it would be like having a pet that they could talk to. Anyways, when he discovered his powers, he was happy to go to magic god boarding school! He was really good at everything, and his powers were strong, so he was happy! He was happy to have people looking up to him and not thinking he was just a waste of space. But eventually, a kid who lived in the town (the black haired guy) discovered that he, too, had the spirit of a god! In fact, he had that of the ruler of the gods, the Sun goddess! Suddenly, HE was the center of attention. Everyone was paying attention to HIM. HE WAS THE CHOSEN ONE. So Caedus grew very jealous and started beef with a 12 year old. The animals are just ones that exist in the world. Phoenixes are very rare, and are the sun goddess’s sacred animal. Albas are basically a hybrid between a flying squirrel, a cat and a barn owl. They’re cat sized. Also Caedus gets one as a pet. And the goat things are their equivalent of sheep. They’re pretty chill. Oh, also the magic powers only work if it’s with selfless intent. So at one point our scruffy little storm boy loses them.
All art and characters were created by me Does anyone have any guesses on how I did the thing to the lineart on the pheonix?? ‘Cause I know I messed around with the blending mode to get it that way, but I don’t remember exactly what it was.
