I also noticed that y’all were a lil advanced so I bumped it up a little >:3 yeah comment any questions you have Scroll for the story The Whispering Woods Maya stepped onto the winding trail of the Whispering Woods, feeling a sudden wave of apprehension. The towering pine trees seemed to block out the sun, casting long, eerie shadows across the damp ground. Her classmates had warned her that the forest was haunted, but Maya prided herself on her rational thinking. She knew there had to be a perfectly logical explanation for the strange noises people reported hearing at night.As she walked deeper into the thicket, the air grew chilly and a conspicuous rustling sound echoed from the bushes. She froze, her heart hammering against her ribs. Instead of running, Maya decided to scrutinize the undergrowth. She parted the thick ferns and discovered a small, trapped owl, its wing caught in a tangle of plastic netting. The bird looked exhausted from its struggle, its movements weak and lethargic.With great care, Maya pulled a small pair of safety scissors from her backpack to extricate the creature. As soon as the netting snuffed out, the owl gave a grateful chirp, flapped its wings, and soared up into the canopy. Maya smiled, realizing that the forest wasn't haunted at all; it was just full of wildlife needing a little help. Her fear completely diminished, she marched back to the school bus, eager to tell her friends about her adventure.
