~ Aɾƚ Tɾαԃҽ ~ For @valemim-! This is my end of the art trade, I hope you like it :) I also included my art process for those of you who are curious. Click to zoom. ~ Pɾσƈҽʂʂ ~ 1) These are the reference pics I looked up. Mostly for details and stuff. 2) I’m really bad at digital art just by itself, so I always draw everything traditionally first. Extends my arting time to around 4 hrs. TvT anyways this is the basic pose very basic very light 3) More outlining to give a definite shape (kinda) I used a hand model to draw the hand btw 4) Some more details like his hammerhead thing, also changed the hand up a bit and stuff 5) Started drawing the clothes, cleaned it up a bit, drew the eyes. 6) AaRrGgHhH mY hAnD hUrTs added like a million details and stuff (heh heh don’t mind all the pencil marks and eraser bits in the bg I don’t clean my desk) 7) We are now in the realm of digital art! I uploaded a pic of the drawing to the Sketchbook app on my iPad and traced all the lineart. (This is actually the second round of lineart. First v got colored and everything, but then halfway through I realized the lineart was severely off. So I went back and fixed it. And basically deleted all the color layers. Awful, I know.) 8) Yay color!! I usually do basic color blotches then clean them up. Idk why I had so much fun drawing the secret stone and eyeballs. I just grabbed rando soft brush and blended the colors. 9) Some shading. (I been sitting here for like 3 hours drawing. I’ve had to turn on OTL to motivate myself.) lol guys I’m just guessing half the time how to shade, I never learned how to shade people / humanoids 10) Done with shading. Ngl getting kinda lazy here. Figured out what I’m doing to shade though. Blending brush *magic* 11) Highlights. I used soft synthetic brush to draw them then blended like crazy. I like how the poofy hair thing came out. 12) IT IS DONE!!! I just painted on some sky, blended it, then airbrushed a few clouds. I duplicated like a million layers to get a hazy atmospheric effect and make the secret stone look glowy. 13) Close up of face (bad quality lol) THAT WAS ACTUALLY SO MUCH FUNNN I hope you like it @valemim-!
