Note: Death project coming out soon! CREDITS Sorastar. @celovesart Carmine. @_weaselkabob Scorchedshatter. @spyat Hornet. @slimyscratcher63 Cedarear. @Dash-40001 Dragonflyswarm. @moondragn Galevalor. @.user Grandeurphantom. @Ender_dragon1234 Hyacinthhoney. @lotusleaves- Daffodilkit. @.user ClayTyphoon. @-_DuskStar_- SonnetScourge. @Miso_CatFrom_Mars NOTE TO HIS ALLIES - VultureSlaughter had never been good at calling anyone his friends, usually resorting to ‘acquaintance’ or ‘ally.’ He never called anyone his friend. Not even as he died protecting one. FAMILY To ShatteredCrown - @Arrow_on_pawz Thank you so much for being a part of his life! ShatteredCrown was his mother, even if she didn't treat him like one. She treated him like a student. And both he, and I, couldn't have asked for a better mentor and teacher. Thanks to your effort and relentless training, he became what he is today. From VultureSlaughter. ‘ … Is this thing on? Humans, and their dumb technology. Anyways. I know you're already in the dark forest, ShatteredCrown. And you'll see me soon. But I wanted to mention, without any proof that this is truly me, that I appreciated your relentless effort of training me. I didn't make it easy on you. You didn't expect me to, did you? Even when you received what you thought was a prophecy about your newest kits. I guess it wasn't all wrong. I rose to power. Grandeurphantom died before me. I.. survived. So why doesn't it feel like I lived? Anyways. Goodbye, mother. The stars damned you to the dark forest. But the dark forest crowned me instead. ‘ – To Tortrixblight - @sillymiasi You may not have noticed, but you also made quite a big impact on Vulture's life. He never believed Tortrix when he told him that he was loved. He had always thought that Tortrixblight loved Grandeurphantom more– and perhaps it was true. Perhaps it wasn't. But these moments gave him the fuel it took to work so much harder. He probably didn't even know if he wanted to prove himself to Trix, or to himself. So thank you! From Vulturekit. ‘...Hey dad. I found this weird device a bit ago. Apparently it records sounds. So, I'm making this for when I finally fall. Hopefully in some big, glorious way that my name will be remembered forever. Anyways. I always wanted to feel like your son. You know that, right? But I guess I never did. Never have. I'm six moons right now. My ceremony was delayed. I should be training. I've seen you three times. No– not today. In my life. How come Grandeurkit has seen you so much more than me? I think I saw you bring her a piece of prey a bit ago. Why can't I be loved, too? Either way… I'm dead. Goodbye, dad. Don't expect me to greet you when I enter the dark forest. ‘ Later, from Vulturepaw, ‘ you're forgiven. ‘ – To Grandeurphantom - Wow… Grandeur and Vulture have been at it from the start, haven't they? From that first promise. ‘Promise me, Grandeurkit. If you become leader, Ill be your deputy. And you will be mine, should it be the other way.’ It was obvious from the start that each kit wanted to become a leader, slowly becoming enemies despite the promise that bound them like a chain. I want to thank you so much for becoming such a big part of Vulture's life. From the promise, to the Orca trials, to death. Thank you! From VulturePaw. ‘ Im back.. I guess. GrandeurPaw. I know you think you will always be stronger than me. You probably think you'll be a leader– though that's my own intention. Maybe ill actually go through with my promise. Anyways. I'm dead. I would guess I outlived you, even though I'm older by a few moments. We've never been friends. Hardly siblings. Allies, maybe. But I wanted to say thank you. You've been a worthy ally throughout my life. You've proved your strength over and over again, and I would be– or would have been, wherever my life takes me– honored to have you as my deputy. I think the role would suit you well, sister. The dark forest will welcome me as a king, and you as a soldier. Goodbye. May death do us part. ‘
– To HyacinthHoney - @lotusleaves- Hyacinthhoney was probably his favorite sister, especially after the Orca trials. He always thought she had those keen eyes and a smart mind, perfect for a commander in the Bleeding sky. You're made such a big impact in his life– especially when he killed Dragonflyswarm. They were such an incredible pair, and I can't thank you enough!! He was heartbroken when she died, even if he wasn't very obvious about it. He would have given his life for hers. From VultureSlaughter. [ Taken after Hyacinth's death ] ‘...Of course you would wait until now to die. Until I had nothing left. You were always clever like that. I hate you. You know that, right? ‘ Later - ‘ I miss you, HyacinthHoney. I go on patrol, and I miss the times we went together. Laughing. Hunting. Yelling at each other about cheating in a game. I never managed to prove you cheat– I suppose I was slightly more obvious about my victories. I know you're dead so… there's no point in telling you that I am. You'll see me soon enough. You were always my favorite sister. You never acted rashly. Quite the opposite, playing the long game instead of acting on instinct. I respected that. I don't know what to do anymore. Thank you for being there– even if you weren't. Thank you for sitting silently beside me when you knew I was angry. Fighting beside me during the Orca trials, even if you almost wrecked it. *chuckle* that was… funny, to say the least. Those losers deserved it. Anyway. Peace out.. and.. ill see you soon enough.’ – FRIENDS / ALLIES To SonnetScourge - @Miso_catfrom_mars Your cat was probably one of the cats who affected him the most. Always being there for him, wreaking chaos in the nursery, and sitting outside together in the rain while everyone else sheltered in the safety of the nursery. Then apprenticeship, training, being among the first to create the Bleeding Sky, and supporting, recruiting, and fueling the army all the way. Thank you so much for being such a big part in his life, and humoring me and all my weird little ideas. It really means a lot!! From VultureSlaughter ‘ I always knew it would be me and you. Even in the end. I knew I would die for you if I was given the chance. I would have done anything to protect you. ‘ *sigh.* ‘ I'll miss you, my brother. I never had a brother. I suppose you were my first. Even if you weren't really blood related. You were there when I made the Bleeding Sky. You were there during the Orca trials. You were there when Hyacinth died. When I killed, and fought my way to the throne while wading in blood. And yet you still smiled. You– Smiled. Why couldn't you just CRY? I– don't even– ‘ *a pause.* ‘You have always been my brother. Goodbye, SonnetScourge.’ – To DaylilyOath - @hippogriff16 I think DaylilyOath was also one of the most impacting cats in his life, especially during kithood. That one confession he made, the weight of his family name? Well, that bore down on him. And everything since he told her, and she comforted him, he had been emotionally closed off. He was never one to like sharing personal information, so that felt.. different. He never liked change, unless he was in control of it. But I wanted to thank you so much– he wouldn't have become the cat he is today without your consistent support and endless kindness. Thank you eternally!! From VulturePaw ‘ DaylilyPaw… a member of my army. I planned to train you to grow strong. I started neglecting you ever since that conversation on the hill. But.. I'm not going to apologize. And I'm not talking to you for a while. We're you.. using me? Prying me open like a clam– like there's something else to me other than the fighter? Well there's not. Stop looking, okay? Leave. Me. ALONE! ‘ Later, As VultureSlaughter. ‘ … wow. ‘ *chuckle* ‘ I had a bit of an attitude, didn't I? It's my fault now, everything that's happened to me. You're also gone. In.. Starclan I suppose. You've never been much of a crime-commiter, despite the crimes you hid from the clan on demand. I don't know how to thank you for everything you've given me. Your energy, your ambition, your trust– something you never should give a conman. I've taken everything from you. And even when you had nothing more to give, you kept trying. It was always the sign of a Starclanner. Perhaps I had always known, but not really. Perhaps you're the one good cat I can respect. You won't see me for a while, as I'm heading off to the Dark forest. Goodbye, Daylilyoath. Safe travels, sister. ‘ – PART TWO - https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1369402465/
