The Runaway Chapter 3 Medusa continued through the forest, still no one, there wasn't even a sign of other people. As she walked she passed many city ruins. All she needed was a place for a permanent shelter. Maybe she would have to build it herself. All she needed was a empty area to start building. Soon after walking she found the perfect spot. A place were the trees stood clear, close to them there were fallen tree's she could use to build with. Medusa Moved over to one of the fallen tree's. Medusa tried to drag it to the spot but it was to heavy so she went to push it. after a few minutes and sweat Medusa got it to the center of the spot. This is gonna take hours Meduda thought to herself as she moved for another fallen tree. After a few more trees she had to take a break. she probably wouldn't have it built by today. Suddenly she felt as someone was watching her. She looked around to see if anyone was watching. Nobody was in sight but she knew someone was hiding watching her. As She looked around she soon located the spot the person was hiding. It didn't look like the person knew was spotted yet. She just stood there waiting for the person to reveal themself. Just come out I've found you Medusa thought as she stared straight at the new Person. "What do you want?" The person slipped out of a bush. The persons Blue eyes looking into Medusa's. The Person had strawberry blonde hair and a streak of blue in it. " I was just wondering why you were watching me" Medusa said looking at the new guy. Medusa noticed the wolf ears on The new person. So a animal born Medusa thought looking at him. "Watching you, huh I was here long before you" He takes a small step towards Medusa. "Yeah right, just a few minutes ago you weren't even there" Medusa protested. Medusa watched as his wolf tail brushed the ground. "Yeah prove it" He said sarcastically. "I felt you following me from the second i got here" Medusa argured. "Then why didn't you say something earlier?" The person said in a stern tone . "Because I wanted to make sure you were following me before i took a look" Medusa replied. "Fair enough" He said. "Also im looking for the village's if you know were there at" He added. Medusa pretended he didn't know what villages He was talking about, "What villages?" She asked. "Well any if you know Warthif" Medusa flinched at the words. "I would like to go there" He finished. "Well i dont know were that is" Medusa lied not wanting to return. Wait does that mean Carnis is trying to finish me off Medusa thought looking at the guy. Medusa didn't recognize this guy from when she was in Warthif, This guy probably didn't know about Her. "Well do you want to walk with me as I find my way back?" The animal born asked. "Well I already have a group of people im with,were not really a village im looking for supplies to bring back to our shelter" Medusa told another lie. "Then why were you moving around that wood, it looked like you were making a shelter" The person asked. Medusa had forgotten about that, "Well uhh I was moving it so we can cut it and bring it to the shelter" Medusa made up. "Makes sense" He said. "Well do you need help?" He asked. "Not really" Medusa said. "ok well bye then, and good luck" He said starting to walk away. So Carnis got new members, I wonder who replaced me Medusa thought thinking about the new guy. Did he know who Medusa was whould Carnis come and attack her? Medusa was ready for her anyways. After a while no one came from the tree's. Medusa was safe at least. Now for the new shelter she was making, she needed to find out how to get the heavy logs to stand up. It would be to hard to do it herself, Maybe she should have gotten help. Wait if she got help she would have to explain what she was really doing. Medusa didn't know if that guy even knew who she was. If she revealed her name she would be k1ll4d on site, even though she kinda deserved it for what she had done. Why did she even run away from the villages, she didn't know. It was to late to go back to them. If she found something else out here she could join that and forget about her life in the villages. Medusa remembered Cam who had healed her when Carnis attacked her. Cam was actually a nice person, it was a shame she had to leave. Cam even mentioned Medusa being in Oreji. Medusa had rejected because Carnis would destroy Oreji if she found out Medusa was apart of there village. She wouldn't be surprised if the attack when she was there was about her.
