This morning, following the death of his father, Ecnerewal I, Ecnerewal II was crowned emir of the Emirate of Qarat. Although we know little about Ecnerewal II's views and plans, we can expect that they will be in a similar vein to those of his late father: economic expansion and a growing presence on the world stage. Although Qarat has never been a dominant world power, recent modernizations by Ecnerewal I have catapulted it to new heights, and it falls upon his son to continue his legacy. Ecnerewal II, 58, is soon to address the press and provide more information on his plan for the future, both for the nation and for Qargo, which is expanding by the day.
