I have a few things to say so this will take some time. This literally is probably another summer for someone before they go to school, and then finish that year for another summer. This isn't for me. I have 1 more summer left. I have 1 more year to figure out what I want to do before I'm considered lazy and unhelpful to society. This summer has made me think a lot more than I expected. I truly never realized how valuable life is. Now I may not feel that at times, but it's a gift to be alive. Every moment in your life is the most important moment of your life, you're shaping yourself every second. You may not realize this, but you only have 1 life, 1 childhood, 1 overall chance to show the future that and what's beyond that you are worth it. I just realized barely that I'm not a little kid anymore, I'm not walking into my parents room to tell them all of the cool things I like, I'm not walking into school with them, I'm not the Crews my parents saw as a baby and held me like it was my final hour. I'm Crews, the teenager, the exhausted, overworked, sleepless, and…tiring person my parents see. Leaving a mark in life is hard, because of how easy it has become, the marks we leave as time goes on becomes smaller, but I want to show the world that a person like me is capable of carrying a weight no one wants to carry. I'm gonna have to serve a mission soon, I'm gonna have to date and get a higher end job, I'm gonna have to be a dad, and have a family. I'm not cut out for that, nobody really is. Life is brutal right now especially for me, I like a girl, but I feel myself being so unnerved and afraid to talk and connect with her that I literally begin to physically shake uncontrollably. This girl is an amazing person that so many people judge, and criticize for her human flaws. It engulfs my feelings in a sense of rage that people would say atrocious things like that about someone even though they could be doing worse things. Life is scary, but amazing. We all receive opportunities that could spiral into amazing things. Before I go I'll leave you all this. I am a person, you are too, no matter race, sexuality, belief, culture, or anything like that. I'm not leaving Scratch any time soon, but this is my reality check, and realization that I'm growing up, and life will one day take me away from Scratch As you one day grow older, I hope you can learn that life is valuable. I love all of you guys. You all took me here. I wish I could express my gratitude for all of your kindness and support. You guys can make a dummy's dream come true. You all can make someone’s life better, let me be the example of that.
