Yes!!! It’s my birthday today! (Well its 12:19 am but still counts) I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me in the past year! This past year especially has been a huge milestone in my life, I’ve gotten into what i want to do with my life, animation. I got my first job, i overcame my mental health issues from last September with help of friends, have a partner i love, and have been opening myself up more to connect with people. I’ve done almost everything i can to help whoever i can, like yesterday i was at the homeless camps giving out supplies with my great aunt and the church group, supported friends through tough times, and have been helping my grandma as much as i can. I hope to do more this year <3 This past year has been really hard for me, but I couldn’t be more grateful to my friends irl and online, a scratch helped me a lot as well. Last year, my mental health had never been worse, and i was getting 1-2 hours of sleep a day. Some days, the only thing that kept me going was to be able to come on scratch. I lost multiple pets, my rabbit Twinkle and my hamsters Hammi and Crystal, along with the loss of the dog i grew up with. My mom had some heart problems, but thankfully she recovered and is doing well. I’m finally out to my parents, and im happy to be in a place where im not judged for that. Finally, overall my Anxiety has gotten more manageable and i feel a lot happier with myself. Thank you all so much again, and im excited to see what this year brings <3 -Gibbs
