RED PANDAS ARE ADORBSSS >:3 ────── ✮⋆˚꩜｡⋆ °❀࿔ ────── Hi everypawdy!!! :D Sorry for not posting in a while, but I'm back again with more animal edits!!!!! :333333333 This edit was requested by @RedpandaPookieBoba (TYSMMM!!! And thank you for waiting!!!! :DDD) This edit is also for all the red panda therians/alterhumans out there!!!!!!!!! <333 STAY FLUFFY :333 ────── ✮⋆˚꩜｡⋆ °❀࿔ ────── Fun facts: 1. Red pandas were the original pandas! They were discovered in 1825, nearly 50 years before the giant panda was discovered. 2. They are not closely related to giant pandas: The red panda's name might lead you to think that its closest relative is the giant panda, but studies show that they are most closely related to raccoons! Recent genetic research also associates them with the family Mustelidae, which includes weasels, otters, and wolverines. 3. Although the red panda's diet is primarily bamboo, they are biologically classified as carnivores, as they share a common ancestor (and digestive system!) with meat-eating animals. 4. Red pandas migrate vertically: They live in temperate forests at elevations between 4,900 and 13,000 feet and will move lower during the cold, winter months. 5. Lastly, they can quack like a duck! While usually quiet creatures, red pandas make a variety of sounds including tweets, squeals, grunts, hisses, and even a "huff-quack", which sounds similar to a duck's quack. Pretty cool, right? :D (I hoped you like the facts, they took me a while to research and rephrase :>) ────── ✮⋆˚꩜｡⋆ °❀࿔ ────── Thank you so much for watching!!!!!! :DDD Requests are open!!! However I still have a few other requests to complete so if you request now, it might not be done until October :[ The "Drawing Theriotypes" series will continue around October-November, I'm thinking if making it an annual thing :DDDDDD If you want to request an animal for that, please do so in a related project. Thank you! And thank you for watching & sticking around!!! ^^
