[Story] Toby had always been the average hallway crush. Every single girl in the drama club had a crush on him in 7th grade. I mean, what do you expect? He was playing Romeo! How I wanted to be Juliet that year. HIS Juliet. Toby walked past me today, and years of running through sprinklers, doing chalk on each other's driveways, and sneaking out ran through my head. But what was he probably thinking about? 'Oh that's my neighbor...anyway Soccer Practice plays...' How I wanted him to look at me, to be his Juliet. But I never would be. I presented about The Hunger Games, one of our favorite series. Surely he would look at me, and be proud? But his eyes were on Penelope Abrams, cheek resting on his hand. It was exactly like how boys would look at the female lead in a rom-com. I guess I would never be enough for him. Maybe I would end up hating him like my friends do. Maybe not tomorrow. Maybe not next year. But it had to happen eventually. ...For now I still love Toby.
