Random Destinyshipping fic part 7 It was finally Monday again. Usually Kai wasn't looking forward to a school day, but considering how bored he was over the weekend it didn't seem so bad (he was also looking forward to seeing Morro again). Nya had taken a detour so she could walk the rest of the way with Jay, so Kai was the first of the group who arrived. At least, he thought he was until he saw Lloyd sitting on the floor next to his locker. He hid his face behind his knees. Kai rushed over. "You good, dude?" He asked, startling Lloyd. He looked at Kai, his eyes bloodshot and his face a little red. He sniffled. "Oh, uh, h-hey Kai. Didn't see you there," he said, wiping his eyes. "Were you crying?!" Kai exclaimed. He sat down next to Lloyd. Lloyd nodded. "Um, yeah." "How come? Did something happen? Do I need to beat someone up?" He said, forming a ball of fire above his fist. Lloyd laughed a little. "No, no, i-it's alright, it's just... *sniff* Akita and I broke up yesterday." Kai gasped. "What?!" "It's not what you think! She's moving really far away, and we won't be able to see each other anymore, so... we did what made most sense, I guess," Lloyd explained. Kai gave him a sad smile and hugged him. "It'll be alright, bro." "Thanks, Kai." They stood back up.
"Am I the first one you told?" Kai asked, helping Lloyd back up. "No, actually. I told Brad before I left for school this morning. You remember him, don't you? Brad Tudabone?" Lloyd said. "Oh yeah, your neighbor? The one you used to go to elementary with?" Kai asked. Lloyd nodded. "Yeah, we saw each other this morning before we left. Too bad he goes to a private school now." The rest of the gang walked in, including Morro. "Hey, guys! What'd I miss?" Nya said, holding Jays hand. Lloyd explained what happened with he and Akita to everyone. They gave him a collection of hugs and emotional support while Kai went to go try rizzing up Morro. "Hey, Morro! How ya doin'?" Kai said, trying to sound casual, although it didn't quite come out like that. "Hi. I'm doing fine. How are you?" He replied dryly. "Well, I was alright, but now I'm absolutely wonderful," he said in a flirty tone. Morro blushed a little. "Oh. Thanks. Glad to see you, too." Kais face immediately turned bright red. "COOL YOU'RE WELCOME" He said loudly. Nya put a hand on his shoulder. "You are the least nonchalant person I have ever seen," she said. "Shut up, Nya." "No way, Kai."
