go check out the version on dt's account (and give it a heart and star!): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1369068109 anyway if you couldn't tell this is for tvmc. i hope it does well. my part is like 20 frames but it took me really long to make for some reason. and there was a whole two parts that me and dt didnt end up animating which is why this might be a bit short. but dt asked me to finish atleast one part so i rushed the last scene earlier today. also as a fun fact i originally wanted to do a different song so dt created a palette and i split it into parts but we eventually changed to this song. but i'm not gonna tell you what the other song was because i might make an amv using it sometime. but i think the final result ended up pretty good! dt did the first part and i did the second! i really like dt's style and his part. and for my part, i tried to keep it simple and basic to reflect the fact that this part of the song is quiet. i took some inspiration from carrot which is why i did the head like that. i also used a clone to create this cool opacity / motion blur ish effect that i think looks really nice and adds a lot to the part. also its funny how dt and i had the same idea with the brightness flickering (although mine is faster and a lot more subtle). anyway as a general life update. last friday (the 14th) i started my senior year of high school. its gonna be an interesting year and i look forward to some of the classes. i'm not taking as many hard classes as i did in my junior year but i still am busy because its school and i also have to do college applications :| but i'll still try to find time to animate and finish my map parts and maybe post other projects sometime. ive been in a bit of a slump lately and have not been animating much but maybe school will force me to be more productive. anyway im done ranting now :) the song is helena by my chemical romance thanks to dt for being my teammate thanks to zugshi for hosting the contest and thanks to you for viewing :) have a nice day
