Hyper Thermal Plasma Anti Tank, or H.T.P.A.T. is the third type of P.A.T. shell and the first non T.P.A.T. type P.A.T. shell. With a BMG, tip (to stop mushrooming), the HTPAT hits the armor and triggers exothermic ablation, scouring against the tank. The outer shell disperses a fast-burning zirconium-magnesium scouring charge across the armor, this burns off the sacrificial carbon coatings and radiates heat across the armor, boiling the sensor gel layer so it chars and loses shock absorption capabilities. After this, the warhead ignites a liquid lithium-aluminate payload, driving a plasma jet exceeding 5000 degrees Celsius into the target's surface. Because fluoropolymers decompose at around 400-500 degrees Celsius, the heat instantly pyrolyzes the liquid Teflon carrier fluid and micro-linings, turning them into high-pressure gas. Trapped inside the microscopic pockets of the titanium foam skeleton, the expanding Teflon gas generates massive internal pressure due to the heat, causing an internal explosion within the armor, shattering the skeleton. From there, the shell injects another load of nano thermite plasma to do whatever damage it can.
i feel like i messed up the science behind this
