Last One || Chapter 2 August 7, Friday 8:56 am Reid When I woke up, everything changed. "Aunt Martha? Where am I?" I spoke, my voice cracking. I was in a hospital room, which I recognized as the hospital down the street. Aunt Martha had comforted me, told me that she was glad I was okay, and had explained what happened. "The doctors stated that you had probably hit your head on a tree and got a concussion when trying to save Garrett from the quicksand. Imagine that! Quicksand in Brownsville. Crazy. Do you remember anything, sweetie?" she had asked. The actual crazy part, (not the quicksand), was that I didn't remember anything. Barely. I could've sworn that someone had punched me. We were in the woods for...I don't even know what for. My last journal entry suggests it was for...adventure? Doesn't sound like me. Maybe Garrett or Matt forced me. They said I'll be in the hospital for one more night. August 8, Saturday 10:44 am Reid I got no sleep last night. There were annoying scratching sounds underneath the bed which I may or may not be concerned about. This morning I got to go back. Doctors said I will experience pounding or dizziness and brain fog. Awesome. Can't wait. August 9, Sunday 5:56 pm Reid Matt came and said hi to me. I asked him if he remembered anything about the forest. He said he got knocked out too. He didn't get a concussion. Lucky. And he's wondering if Garrett is okay, because he never responded. I asked my aunt and she said he was recovering. Me and Matt don't believe the quicksand story. We kind of put our memories together, and all we could get is that: 1. We were trying to save Garrett from something 2. He fell into something? 3. We agreed to never go in the woods again. August 10, Monday 6:36 am Reid My aunt didn't let me go to school today. Or do anything today, in fact. Matt had to go to school. Garrett came over though. He is actually doing pretty well. He won't say anything on what happened though. We yapped about other random things. Couldn't play video games because of my concussion. Or even read. My aunt said I could write. But not too long. So bye for now. August 11, Tuesday 3:00 Reid Help. I found myself in the forest today. Again. With my journal. I don't know the exact time, so I wrote down three o'clock. I woke up against a tree. There's red...something...(paint?) on the ground, trailing. It's all silent except for the river rushing beside me. I can hear footsteps approaching- Oh, wait, is this red paint coming from me? ---------- lol this was kinda short and sucks but hoped ya liked it I'ma work on Gl?tch now--- first: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1368204318/ next: soon song: PASSENGER - Alex Warren (yep, Reid.
