THEIR REASONS FOR WHY THEY ACT THIS WAY WILL BE BROUGHT UP / REVEALED IN THE FUTURE!! summary: RANTZ does not know what social cues are (not entirely human + isolated since birth/creation) MORROW does know, but does not understand them and had to learn the hard way (autism) this creates a disconnect and one-sided envy on MORROW'S part as she wish she wasn't held back expansion: Very early on, MORROW realized that she could not be accepted for who she truly was by others. She had no choice but to curl into herself and grow a hard shell of superficiality in order to protect herself, to survive. And now, to have RANTZ so readily accept her kindness and open up to her without hesitation or shame... it's almost mocking. Nevertheless, MORROW indulges them and refuses to ever let RANTZ ever know she feels this way. She knows they don't mean any harm, and she feels guilty for even envying their ignorance, knowing it comes from their lack of childhood and prolonged isolation from others. Despite RANTZ’ lack of knowledge on the subject, they can tell something’s off. That the words MORROW comforts them become shallow at times. RANTZ doesn’t like to think about it, but on rare occasions, MORROW'S tone slips and she says something backhanded. It’s those moments of bluntness that, regrettably, sound the most genuine.
