Blossom, one of my hens, passed away this past Wednesday (August 12) She was my favorite chicken i n the coop. She was the sweetest little hen there. She'd always run up to me when I would go outside. I'd hold her, she'd sit in my arms. She coo to me, she'd snuggle up to me. Now she's gone. I tried not to cry; I've had many of my other chickens pass like this. She was only a year old, but all the other hens would peck at her, and I guess she just bl3d too much. My parents were getting ready to move her to another coop in case the pecking got too bad, but now she's gone. Me and my parents were away for the whole week (aug 9th to 14th. just got back home 14th.) My dad had work elsewhere, so we went with him. My grandparents took care of our chickens for us. It's not their fault that she d!ed, it's not their fault the other hens were so mean, it's not their fault the rooster wouldn't protect her. Blossom inspired two of my OCs, Rosey and a catified version of Blossom. They're both inspired by her sweet and shy personality, and they're both two of my favorites. Now their inspiration is gone. Yeah, I'm having some trouble. I hope I'll see her again some day. I have some pictures in the project if you want to see her </3
