A 3D raycasted backrooms horror walker. You've fallen into the backrooms...an endless maze of damp yellow rooms. There's no monster to shoot. But you're not alone. The longer you stay, the worse it gets. Your goal: survive long enough to find the exit. HOW TO PLAY ------------ WASD ......... move / strafe ← → .......... turn ↑ ↓ .......... look up / down SPACE ........ jump CLICK / Q fire X (hold) ..... aim (scope) R ............ reload TIP: keep moving, but don't linger. Something is waiting for you. Play in TurboWarp for the best framerate. Headphones recommended.
⚠️ Contains flashing lights and jumpscares. Not recommended for people sensitive to flashing images or heart conditions. ================== NOTES ================== - The engine is a pen-based DDA raycaster, inspired by griffpatch's "Crazy Fun Raycasting" tutorial series. - Walls, floor and ceiling are textured via shade maps + fog. - There are NO physical enemies. The horror is psychological:an invisible "dread" grows while you explore, making jumpscares more frequent and slowly draining your health. Can you figure out why before it's too late? ================== CREDITS ================== - Design, code & engine: Akulmach_74 - Raycasting method: griffpatch - Fonts: Butcherman (Typomondo) for the title - All art created by akulmach_74 for this project - Sound is on chosic.com by Special thanks to the Scratch community for the raycaster tutorials that made this possible. #horror #backrooms #raycaster #3D #FPS #jumpscare #griffpatch
