Music: "Family" (Super Mario Galaxy) Update: Corrected the end dates to match the official statement made by Nintendo about Pokémon Bank. This list includes every single core series game from Generations 1 through 7, with the sole exceptions of Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! since those games are on the Nintendo Switch and will therefore not be affected by the Pokémon Bank shutdown. This hurts way more than the 3DS and Wii U shutting down did, because not only is Pokémon my favorite video game franchise, I apparently wasted my time and energy modding my 3DS to get Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter after the 3DS eShop shut down. I know the shutdown will only happen in just over six months after this is shared, so technically I have plenty of time to complete the Pokédex before then, but the LEAST they could've done was given everyone a two year warning instead of a six month warning or something. Or better yet, have someone else manage Pokémon Bank. For the record, I know that Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen are technically now on the Switch, but another thing I think Nintendo should do is work on ports of every Generation 1-7 game. Or at least ports of Generations 1-3, skip Generation 4 because of the remakes in Generation 8, and remake Generation 5 (in Generation 10), and then upcoming remakes of Generations 6 and 7 (for Generations 11 and 12, assuming Pokémon HOME doesn't get shut down by then either).
