1. adela IS going to have a bigger impact than katseye if katseye keeps doing what theyve been doing because they might be bigger right now but just you wait until they've lost all their relevancy because their fandom got tired of 2 minute "songs" and the overworking and poor management 2. what are we doing eyekons, praising megan for going on tour while injured? i thought when you're injured you should rest 3. katseye is kpop-adjacent. theyd say otherwise but if they didnt want to capitalize off kpop stans' dedication they wouldn't have things like random photocards would they? but they identify as kpop only when it's convenient for them, like when they perform on korean music shows and when they were nominated for best kpop at the vma's 4. katseye inevitably falling apart is going to be a huge reality check for kpop stans 5. saying this as a fan of both groups why do people keep praising nmixx and artms for their artistry when the members are hardly ever involved in the production and writing of their music (i know about loud and sparkle that's why i said hardly ever instead of never) 6. if we're gonna call idols "artists" why isn't it normalized for them to be the ones creating the art? why is it that you'll see a song on a highlight medley (probably a bside no casual fan's gonna listen to anyway) that has a member in the writing credits and the comments are treating it like some huge spectacle that OMG THEY'RE WRITING THEIR OWN MUSIC!!!!! 7. continuing that, iconic by mistake bothers me so much because the lyrics just become totally meaningless when you see that none of the members are in the writing credits, i feel like especially with disses it's important that the message you're sending is something you're actually passionate about and from the le sserafim and katseye documentaries it really doesn't seem like the members are never bothered by their haters at all like iconic by mistake is trying to make it sound like 8. i have a theory they knew the "this song is about you, that's why you don't like it" comments were coming and that's literally a reason why they made a song about haters 9. i will never understand why engenes are so upset about heeseung/evan, take this with a grain of salt but it really seems like to me that he left the group out of his own free will and yall were talking about BOYCOTTING his solo stuff?? i have genuinely seen people less sad about celebrities actually dying than how yall were acting about him just leaving the group 10. there's no such thing as a no-skip discography and no artist will match your personal taste exactly unless you start making your own music 11. no artist will ever be 100% unproblematic in your eyes either, you just have to decide what you're willing to tolerate before you stop supporting them. again just make music yourself if you want an artist with the exact same views on everything as you 12. artists having "unprofessional" online presences like f5ve's should be normalized and i can't imagine being a grown adult and not being able to share MY OWN THOUGHTS online. i know f5ve's posts cause mild controversy sometimes but it's sad that presenting yourselves online as humans who make mistakes is considered unprofessional 13. a lot of kpop artists would be way more controversial if their online presences were never being sanitized and controlled by their companies, so their true colors would have shown through much earlier 14. there's a difference between being more authentic online and acting like you lack media training, for example for my aes commers and spop idols reading this, you talk about your personal lives and your opinions all the time with mostly no problems but i KNOW you all have people in the community you like and dislike but you'll never say who they are out loud because you know it'll cause drama. it's just about having common sense 15. i keep seeing jokes about influencers larping kpop when their views are low.............what if they just like the song because kpop isn't niche anymore 16. idols/fandoms can be problematic all they want but i don't think anyone deserves death threats no matter what they did 17. blackpink could get out of their current controversy and blinks would go back to defending them with their lives if they simply addressed it and apologized but no they can't even do that much i guess. "well that was when they were teenagers, they've grown and changed since then" THEN WHY WON'T THEY APOLOGIZE 18. i sure hope this isn't the case but i feel like we're close to kpop's popularity suddenly falling off HARD, the market is so oversaturated especially after kpop demon hunters and katseye blew up last year, people are realizing how racist a lot of idols are despite how a chunk of the industry is just black artists' reheated nachos, and as i said earlier if katseye falls apart it'll be a reality check for everyone about how poor the management is most of the time
