One was Hemlockpaw, who had been skeptical but supportive. One had been Mirthpaw, who thought it would be boring. And the last one... the last one had been Wolfsbanepaw. But all the medic apprentice had done was made Lumin cry. No one understood. No one. Lu ran faster, out of camp, into Urchinclan territory. He should know this place, but he didn't. This wasn't his home, wasn't his clan, wasn't his place. He looked around wildly, spraying teardrops through the air. He doubted anyone in Urchinclan understood him. Not even his father. This was terrible. Maybe he was a crybaby. Maybe he was weak. It didn't matter, because no one knew him. A feeling of ice-cold fear overtook him. He had just insulted a highrank. Who had power. His life was ruined. His dreams of being a medic had been destroyed 2 moons ago. Now his dream of being leader was gone too. So much for a peaceful Urchinclan. So much for a brighter future. It was gone. All gone. The sun inside of Luminarypaw had been covered by a dark, dark shadow. An internal solar eclipse.
