(This is not written by AI, I orginally wrote this for SMP application) In daily life, I am a tech enthusiast who enjoys connecting with those around me. At school, I am known as an active and dynamic individual, always eager to share my passions. However, the school environment alone felt limited, as I had yet to find like-minded peers who share my long-term career aspirations. This led me to discover Scratch an accessible programming platform tailored for all ages, from children to adults. It is a vibrant community where diverse creators showcase their work. Being a naturally proactive person, I simply cannot stand by when other users are in need of assistance. To me, Scratch is a community where everyone treats each other like family, transcending boundaries of gender, age, and ethnicity to unite as one. This sense of belonging is what brought me the greatest joy while using the platform. I connected with true friends who share my passion and from whom I have learned a great deal. Moreover, these users were the very individuals who guided me when I first started navigating Scratch both the website and the forums. I am deeply grateful to them, as their support shaped who I am today. Because of that, during my 6 months serving as a "Community Helper", I dedicated myself to supporting those who were in the exact same situation I once was. Today, many of them have followed in my footsteps, becoming 'Community Helpers' themselves to give back to others and becoming my close friends. Witnessing this ripple effect is an incredible achievement that I could truly never have imagined. Also, Scratch also helped me a lot to improve my English skills , my art, my experience to become a Youtuber, a game developer (which is very important for my later life) As someone who is still learning, helping the community, collaborating with people on Scratch has helped me pick up a lot of new skills, sharpen the existing ones, and I feel genuinely appreciated and fun by the community. Working with others gives me the opportunity to showcase my talents while bringing out areas where I need work, allowing me to steadily improve over time. For example, I’ve joined quite a few collaboration groups hosted by fellow Scratchers, and working alongside them has been an absolute fun time. Honestly, I’ve never found teamwork to be as fun anywhere else as it is on Scratch!
