The autumn holidays began today. Natascha, Fiete, and Rin flew to NatureClan. It was also the day of the Great Gathering, so Natascha would see her relatives again. The leaders of the four Clans—Featherstar, Greenstar, Flowerstar, and Peachstar—climbed onto the Great Rock. Greenstar opened the gathering: “Cats of all Clans—wellcome, to the Gathering. I want to announce right away that I will no longer be the leader of SeaClan; I am going to join the elders. However, since my deputy is still in school and only here occasionally, Waveclaw will take over my position. But as soon as Greytail finishes school and is ready to become leader, she shall take the role. She must also remain your deputy.” “I, Waveclaw, feel very honored; I will travel to Moonpool tonight to receive my new name and my nine lives from StarClan,” said Waveclaw. The other leaders had something to say as well. “I, Featherstar, leader of NatureClan, also have something to share. Foreign scents have been detected on our territory. They do not belong to any of our four Clans; we believe they come from strays. However, the scents suggested that they are not very aggressive.” And Peachstar and Flowerstar too said that they scented those scents. Then, the gathering came to an end.
