"Cha cha now y'all, in the all-new Cha." After the succeus of the gen 1 Cha, Rebel immediately could tell this was a model worth keeping. The 2nd gen was introduced for the 97 model year and sold in even more 3rd wold countries. Rebel had dealer networks in around 56 other countries. Rebel did sell the Cha in the U.S. however they discontinued it for good in the USA in 2005. Not suprisingly, the 2nd gen Cha was sold in the other countries untill 2012. The Cha Cha was also introduced with the base model. It was sold in the US for the same time as the base model, but it was discontinued for other countries in 2007, since the wing of the factory that made Cha Chas exploded that year. The car, before getting discontinued, actually began to take on a cult like following. Ballsy Co. the peformance division of Rebel decided to supply aftermarket parts such as brakes, suspensions etc. So many Cha's were decked out in these parts that it became hard in some countries to find a bone stock Cha.
