Try the third version: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1383577562/ It's better This project takes the last three letters, finds those three letters wherever they pop up in a list of words, makes a list of the next letters that come after the three letters in those words, and picks one from random (with more common letters being the next one more frequently). There are a few problems, like if the first letter is i, ing is a likely lineup of next letters and because most words end with ing, the "next letter" is the end of the word. Similar stuff happens with letters like s, ed, ate, sometimes h. Another problem is that if a lineup happens that isn't a part of a word (like RRR), there is no possible next letter and the word ends. I'm going to make a better version
