Update with Silver Reverie Forgot to make a welcome home update so doing this instead. Took Revi out for a day on the trails today and she did amazing! We were out for about 4 hours (with a break at the beach) at the walk and trot with a little cantering here and there and went farther out than normal, as I usually start heading back after the bridge over the stream that runs down from the cross country course but today we went all the way to our beach! It was almost an hour before we got to the beach, but definitely worth it. Once we got to the beach I dismounted and untacked Revi and just let her roam with her halter on because I trust that she won’t go far. I ate a sandwich and Revi was very interested in what I was doing, so I set aside my sandwich, grabbed my banana, ate half and then gave the rest to Revi. Her treat desires satisfied, she wandered down the beach a bit to attempt to investigate some sandpipers, but they left before she could get to them. Disappointed, Revi played around in the water for a while before heading up behind the beach to graze. After two hours of being at the beach it was time to head back before sundown, so I tacked Revi up and started the hour ride back.
