Spam the flag. Alright, so here it is. For the "painfully" making of 7 hours and too much math for a day, I made a Scratch Stress Test. This will take your FPS of your Scratch/Website/a bit of your computer. It's not REALLY precise as it centers around your Scratch's lag using a "Wait (0) seconds" block. But at least it's precised a bunch. I took this from inspiration that some Scratch projects are INSANELY laggy because of the amount of coding in there or the user's own lag (no offence), or maybe both! So I did this. ----------------------How everything works---------------------- Frames: Counts a frame every 0 seconds. I know, sounds pretty illogical, but Scratch's lag can make 0 seconds a few milliseconds longer or can take less. FPS: Sets itself to Last Frames divided by Lapsed time. Last Frames: Counts the Frames every second before resetting them to 0. Starting Time: Sets itself to the timer every second. Lapsed Time: Sets itself to Starting Time minus the timer. Max FPS: Starts by a Frame Reference that gets unused when used once. If the current FPS passes this number, Max FPS will set to that number. Think of it as a sort of High Score. Min FPS: Starts by a Frame Reference that gets unused when used once. If Min FPS passes the current FPS count, Min FPS will set its number to that number. High Score, but backwards. Average FPS: To calculate this, two variables appear: Total Time, which sets itself to timer every test, and Total Frames, which is basically Frames that never reset. At the end of all tests, Total Time is set to Itself (Time WITH Scratch lag) minus timer (Time WITH LESS Scratch lag) and average FPS gets set with the Total Frames divided by Total Time. --------------------------------Tests---------------------------------- There are a total of 6 tests, those being: Idle Test: Tests lag when being neutral. Clone Test: Tests lag when loading and resisting multiple active clones. Script Test: Tests lag when repeating calculations/Scripts (in this case, a math script). Graphic Test: Tests lag when loading and creating multiple stamps. Event Test: Tests lag when sending multiple events to other sprites. Combined Stress Test: Tests lag when the other 4 tests are being used at once at a moderated rate. ------------------------Extra Stuff----------------------------------- Despite the fact this project is basically 430+ blocks, there is only 18 scripts. Also the block counter is EXACTLY 444! I won the lottery... I guess? The background is just a recolored version of Stripes. If you thought this was a personalized background by me, I dunno what to tell you... For the Script Test and Event Test there are invisible sprites doing the work. Also, the Event Test sends the event to the invisible sprite for Script Test to move 10 steps and if on edge bounce! Unfortunally nobody gets to see its beautiful bouncing back and forth. The PC-popup like squares are made by me. This project canonically hates turbo mode. It'll literally break if you try.
