The Runaway Chapter 2 Hours after searching through the ruins Medusa found nothing useful, The only thing she gained was a few cvts from the metal bars that held the concrete together before the monsters tore it apart. Medusa Decided to leave the tragic ruins behind returning to the green forest. Now that it wasn't raining Medusa could walk farther. Looking up at the sky A rainbow hung in the clouds. As she walked she remembered Asuka. Medusa recalled the Mask that covered her face when she had attacked Sartuo with Carnis. Sartuo had a smart strategy when they attack. They pretended to surrender but then attacked. That was the first time Medusa didn't follow Carnis's Orders, she told Medusa to tie them up but she didn't. She was surprised Carnis didn't notice. Medusa shook her head as she walked alone. The Peaceful solitude of the forest surrounding her. To be honest, this was easy, Medusa thought it would be harder. Medusa Looked around, she should be far enough from the Villages. No one would find her now. Medusa did wonder what happened to the ones who escaped Warthif Many got caught in the attempt, the ones Medusa was forced to mvd3r. Many others escaped though. Did any of them survive this long. Was there something more sinister than Her formal leader out here. Medusa was gonna find out soon. Medusa looked at the area hoping to find some place to stay for the night. The sky was getting dark. There was nothing like a cave nearby. Maybe she could climb a tree and hide in it for the night. Medusa looked around for something easy to climb. Medusa found the perfect tree to rest on. Medusa pulled herself onto a thick branch using the trees knots. She laid on the thick brown branch. the tree's branch was very rough but Medusa could deal, after all a k1ll3r didn't deserve to live a comfy life. Medusa closed her eyes drifting into sleep. Carnis was standing right next to Medusa. "Have you found anything that will open the portal" Her voice very cold and sinister. "Im sorry I have not, But I'll keep looking" Medusa said in a stern voice. "HOW DARE YOU, I GAVE YOU SO LONG TO FIND OUT HOW TO OPEN IT AND YOUR LAZY BASTARD HASN'T EVEN FOUND IT" Carnis snapped, Her screaming tearing her eardrums apart. "YOU HAVE DISAPPOINTED ME FOR THAT YOU WILL PAY, IN BLOOD" Carnis said her hand pulling her Silver Cleaver out of her pocket. Blood was covering the Blade of Carnis's short but deadly weapon. In Return Medusa unclipped there Chakrams from her side. "So fighting back , to bad you can't k1ll your leader but your leader can" Carnis said her evil voice spoke. "Sorry I wont let you" Medusa said her voice also becoming cold. "Well then lets see with this fight" Carnis charged at Medusa Cleaver pointing straight at her. Meduda was the first to try to attack. She swung her right arm that was holding one of her silver chakrams. It missed by a few inches, more like carnis took a step back. "Is that all you can do" Carnis taunted before sinking her Cleaver into Medusa's shoulder. Scarlet blood dripped from her wound. Medusa used that as a chance to get a hit on Carnis. Her Chakrams sweet across Her leaders chest. From what it looked like Carnis only got grazed by Medusa's atack. Medusa swung another blow however it was to late as Carnis's Cleaver sank into her leg. Her gray pants stained in red instantly. Medusa hit the ground her leg hurting a lot. "Now should I end it quickly or make you suffer" Carnis looked at Medusa hatred in her gaze. "I know I'll make it long and painfully" A smile of a demon on her face. Carnis made her move, her Cleaver ripping into Medusa's foot. Medusa screamed as pain ripped through her foot. Carnis held her Hand over Medusa's mouth muffling the screams as Her cleaver entered her flesh. The next one was right in Medusa's stomach. Medusa's body was full of pain she probably couldn't scream anymore. The next Cleaver attack ripped through Medusa's arm. "Last one" Carnis said the cleaver slamming into Medusa's throat. (+)
