How can I talk about the Balance Church without talking about the Big Man himself? Necron is the Grand Priest of the Balance Church, and not a good one at that. LORE: ( set in the CU universe ) Necron was a devout follower of the Balance Church when Meteodra's Avatar was the one in charge. Before Meteo battled the Arbiters of Order, he had to choose one person to manage the Church while he was gone. Due to extreme optimism, Necron was chosen. Because of this, a fragment of Meteo's power was given to him, making him extremely powerful. However, due to his personality, the power got into Necron's head pretty rapidly, and started acting out of his own interests instead of following what Meteodra was doing beforehand. Ironically, while Meteodra follows his Balance philosophy, Necron opts for the extremes, being highly destructive and desiring absolute control over everybody. He also indulges in other chaotic aspects, like greed and the fear of others, simply mocking them. PERSONALITY: Necron is a madman, displaying huge amounts of violence and cunningness with a smile on his skeletal face. He takes no time in exterminating every being that opposes him, showing a lack of empathy for anybody. POWERS: Meteodra's power allows Necron to be immortal and use all types of magic, although he prefers using illusions, minions and purple fire. He can also fly, stetch his body and teleport. A new power Necron has is that he can keep all of his minions ( and slaves )' souls and revive them any time he feels convenient. If you get captured by Necron, your soul is now his. Since this power is only given by Meteodra, he can still lose it if Meteo deems him unworthy. Necron does see Meteo as an idol and treats him like such, but he can get influenced by other deities ( Evulz by @anexus is a great example )
