Instructions: Space/tap H: Horn Highlight: This is one of the Three SD45’s That the D&H once owned. No. 801 was built in 1967 as a demo unit for EMD to be trialed out on the D&H putting them in the lightning bolt scheme. Then in 1969, they were traded in to the Lackawanna Railroad. Then in 1976, they were traded back in to the D&H still wearing their Lackawanna paint scheme. Just with D&H patch markings. In 1978, they were retired off of the D&H and were sent down to the N de M Railroad. Serving through the 80s and 90s, then were scrapped. (Except 803 that is preserved. And I couldn’t find any good pictures of them in their N de M paint scheme. Sorry :/)
