Despite Mina participating in a K-pop YouTube stream to publicly apologize and express how frightened she was, the coordinated harassment, personal attacks, and de4th threats escalated. In the early hours of August 5, Mina started a livestream on TikTok from her apartment in Seoul. She took substances and p!11$ on the live, to numb her nerves. Eventually, Mina committed. Concerned viewers and friends contacted emergency services, but sadly, they were too late. Seoul's Yongsan Police arrived at her home at approximately 5:33 AM, where they confirmed she had passed away. The Seoul police are currently investigating the exact circumstances surrounding her death. The tragedy has sparked massive outrage and grief across the global K-pop community, renewing urgent discussions about the devastating impacts of toxic fandom culture, cyberbullying, and online harassment. Ni-ki has already apologized to her family, thinking it was his fault (which it wasn't). He has already offered to pay all fun3ral expenses. Her last words were "I'm scared... I'm scared...
