● Name: Biersach & Niedermeyer Co. Mobil-Directo BN44E ● Chopper Port: 10/12 ● Alert Time: 60 seconds ● Pole height: Around 35 feet ● Decibel Output: 126-130dB at 100 feet ● Location: Behind a Fire Department in the NE sector of Forest County at a 3 way intersection. The other road is partially out of sight in the far aerial view. ● Cool Facts: The Mobil-Directo is basically the ancestor of the Allertor, as the 1st generation Allertor used the same 10/12 port core as the 10/12 port Mobil-Directos, and the horn design was used as well for every generation! There are 2 different types of Mobil-Directos, the BN52/BN54, which were the same model and was the Engine driven version, and the BN44E, which is the motor driven version! BN52/54s that were converted to use electric motors are still called BN52/54s, which kinda makes it confusing to tell what's what! Also, BN54/52s were only 8 port, while the BN44E came in both 8 port and 10/12 port versions.
