They did not expect that their second child would end up being that heir. After six years of slowly getting further and further apart, the king and queen finally decided to have one last child: Saurin. After he was born, they called back on their marital vows and parted ways back to their own kingdoms. Saurin grew up living two lives. The one in Flueresha, which he loved. And the one in Otessa which was political and necessary. The only thing in common about his two lives was that he fit neither truly well. At nine Saurin was crowned and selected four knights as his guards. At twelve, Saurin’s mother released her custody and broke most contact. At fifteen was the moment he and her: his love, his dahlia, Dianna shared their first kiss. Sixteen, however, was the year he met Caireus. The year his fate could finally be chased.
