That being said, if it could be done as soon as possible, if not during the WIP that I'll post, so that I don't finish an entire piece for art just to redo it, that'd be great. :3 __ | Why do you want to make the official character/background designs? | I'm going to give you the entirely honest answer; It's because I have gained quite a bit of motivation for art lately, and I would like to take advantage of it. I know that's a bit of a silly reason, but if I said anything else, it'd be a lie lol. That being said, I do think this is a very interesting plot line, and has a lot of potential with it's characters, so that has certainly drawn me to it as well, though it is not the reason I auditioned. :,) __ | Are you okay with sensitive topics? (Violence, LGBTQ, Drinking, Light Swearing) | 1. I, as a cis, bi girl, do not think of LGBTQ+ as a "sensitive topic". Maybe that's just my personal opinion, but as long as there is no homophobia, I have no issue with it! 2. I would prefer that any art I make be kept Scratch-friendly (like, with the drinking and swearing and such), so that I don't get banned. I have no issue with the topics themselves, I just don't want to lose my Scratch account, so as long as that doesn't happen; absolutely! __ | Did you read the rules? | Of course! I don't join anything before I read the rules to it! <33 __ Some notes about my redesign; I had two slightly different designs there, though the one with the bigger hat is my favorite. It's inspired off of hats from the 20th century, since I thought they look really cool, and, as far as I know, seemed to match the character. The suit, especially it being half-worn, is supposed to represent how 'hard' Serenity works, but the fact that it's only half on is meant to show how, though she believes what I just mentioned, she isn't truly fit to the role of leading. She has no true face, just a mask, to represent the manipulation and such, and she can't frown. Like, literally can't- the mask doesn't let her. The doodle in the middle is a Scar reference btw; "I'm surrounded by id!ots!" That one. Yeah. Just thought I'd explain it a bit loll. :PP Anyway byeeeeee!!
