- HIATUS UPDATE - My i-pad got a temporary fix! <3 You know the stick-on thing that protects i-pads, phones, etc? Not sure how to explain it ^^’ But anyway, we managed to get that and put it on the i-pad! So the good news is: The i-pad has a protection - it’s way less likely to get broken, because the crack can’t spread… and further falling will only do minor damage! But there’s also bad news. Although I’m happy with this, I’m still scared of breaking it. The stick-on doesn’t reach everything - part of the crack is still visible! So if it falls there or I press there (I just did to check, and it almost broke! :sob:)…that part will fall out! So I’m looking into changing the entire glass, not just protecting it. And until then, drawing on Procreate is likely NOT going to happen. And because of that, I’ll be posting less projects and I will STILL be late on gifts, trades, and OTAPs. So although the problem got a temporary solution…it’s not going to last long like this. It’ll eventually break, and if that specific spot breaks (where there’s no protection), it might weaken the entire i-pad! The good news is, I’ll still go on Scratch occasionally, but I won’t post much. —— Okay, now, about school. This year is a pretty important one for me. I’ll be very busy, with an estimated total of 2+ hours of homework - though I might finish quicker, who knows? - AND without most of my friends. So this year, I will be focusing on schoolwork a lot. That means: School > Art > Scratch My time will be divided as so: School stuff (85%), extra activities (10%) art (4.5%), Scratch (0.5%). This may vary, but that’s how I’m planning it to be. Sorry guys, but I really think that, although Scratch means so much to me, my real life is more important. On vacation, I’ll have more time, of course, but I’d like to spend that with family instead and keep working. I want to stay sharp - I feel like my time here is making me lose everything I’ve learned (math, ELA, Science, History, Geography, etc), and I REALLY don’t want that! So, yeah, I’ll be taking a GIANT break from Scratch. And from now on, Scratch will take only 12% of my time (as opposed to the 45% of before) and will slowly go lower till it reaches 0.5%. I’m sorry guys :’( Of course, I’ll finish all my due pays - trades, gifts, OTAPs, etc - by end of August, and I’ll keep working on my comic (that’s in the “Art” category, not “Scratch”, so it takes up more of my time than Scratch), but… Well, that’s all, I guess. Sorry for the bad news :( Amber
