The first thing we must do is begin to rebuild the economy. Following all the starvation and war in Anatolia, plus the 2nd great depression, our country's economy is still barely hanging on and starvation is our largest threat. Anatolia is already a resourcefully very abundant area, with tea and corn grown in the north, livestock and staples farmed in the central area and fruits such as olives, oranges, lemons, tomatoes etc. growing in the Mediterranean Coast. We will begin by investing in the harvesting of staples; inland Anatolia is a perfect area for growing wheat and wheat products, and one of the reasons of the starvation was that these amazing possibilities remained untapped. We raise the wage given to farmers and begin to publicly encourage people to take the job, using propaganda that says that this is for the good of our country to do so. Our nation will begin to produce wheat products in large quantities and use them as a temporary way to end our great famine as we wait for the other regions to recuperate their agricultural products as well. We will also pay some special attention to fishing; our nation borders four seas abundant with fish, but once again this great resource hasn't quite been tapped into as open-sea fishing is uncommon in Anatolia. Once again we encourage this job and raise the wage for all open-sea fishers so as to solve this problem. The SLC militarizes its border areas and Northern Cyprus, but we publicly announce that this is but a defensive move, and that we would actually be willing to increase diplomatic relations and trade with other countries. We can offer our wide range of agricultural products, plus certain rare minerals in large stocks - we have the world's largest source of boron, a highly useful material; three quarters of all boron on Earth is in our country. We also have healthy stocks of chromium, marble, copper and iron. We invest in the mining of these and are ready to sell it to other countries for agreeable prices.
