The Mechanist is a scientist that has grown in popularity in the LSA due to their studies in Thanatology and robotics and their efforts in merging the two sciences into an undead being through 'shock therapy' where the corpse would be shocked enough to twitch this would eventually lead (with many years of graverobbing and testing) to create a walking (somewhat functioning) corpse it is unknown what these things will be used for in the future however this could be a huge stepping stone in the sciences.
